Puzzle-1: What is the radius of the circle?

A simple geometry problem. Shouldn’t take more than a minute to come up with the answer.

The following diagram (not to scale) shows a circle with the center at point C. What is the radius of the circle?





Give proper explanation with your answer.

    the quadilateral formed is rectangle,since 2 angles are given as 90deg and the one at centre is 90(opp.angle is 90)..proving it as rectangle

    radius will be the diagonal..which is equal to 8 as diagonals are of same length

    the data "3 units" is useless in given problem

    sin 45= (r-3)/8
    solving gives r=8.65

    any loophole in this??

    its not square
    diagonal wont bisect d rite angle
